Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is easily overlooked in the midst of colonial homes, history and quaint neighborhoods in Concord, Massachusetts USA. In a town already peaceful and picturesque, Great Meadows is a tranquil oasis for native and migrating wildlife and for visitors to escape the wildness of modern life.

So glad you like how this turned out. Though it looks like fall, I took this in January, captivated by the cattails and glow in the water. But it was a dreary winter day so the picture just sat on my computer until I found the right textures to bring my memories back to life in classic light and mood. Thank you Lorraine!
