Every day the sun slips below the horizon. But before day completely gives way to night, the sun paints the river’s edge in an abstract of fading light, reflections and darkness.

During an unexpected chance to experience Africa, a seed was planted. Nurtured by subsequent forays into wild places, this photographer was born.

Jacques Cousteau said “People protect what they love.” And we’ve all heard that “A picture is worth a thousand words.” So, enough with this. My photography says the rest. Thanks for listening.

    well captured xx

  • Kind of different but something about it captivated my imagination. But wasn’t sure how others would see it so I’m really pleased to hear you like this one. ;-)

Yes! Abstract impressionism at its best. Charles looks very calm & very beautiful.

  • Oh Sheila, Monet I’m not so that’s the best thing anyone could say. And of course, you are the kind soul to say it! One of those images that never would have happened were I shooting film. Figured, that’s cool, I’ll try and see what happens. But when I did, something happened in the camera that ended up surprising and pleasing me. Thank you for your vote of confidence! ;-)
