During an unexpected chance to experience Africa, a seed was planted. Nurtured by subsequent forays into wild places, this photographer was born.

Jacques Cousteau said “People protect what they love.” And we’ve all heard that “A picture is worth a thousand words.” So, enough with this. My photography says the rest. Thanks for listening.

Wonderful . . . love the copper tone!!

  • It was almost night and seemed like one’s imagination was painting the darkness. Was amazed to see what my camera and the fading light created using 30 seconds of time. ;-)

    lovely, does look coppery xx

  • Thank you Lynn. Was one of those inspiring moments when I literally got lost in the sky… I couldn’t pick just one image so decided on the series instead.

    B E A U T I F U L …. of course!

  • Many thanks my friend. It was getting so dark, I held my breath as my camera took its time gathering enough light to make an exposure. Had no idea whether or what it would take. So pleased with the natural drama it captured. Other than adding a touch of black and vibrance, this image is what my camera created.

    Great mood in this image!

  • Thank you Gina. The fading light was amazing this night and I too was captivated by the mood it cast. For me, in this image, that glow of light in the midst of deep darkness shines like a quiet, eternal flame.
