January 19 2012 was in interesting weather day in a so-far snowless yet cold winter in Boston. The day brought sunshine that literally sparkled with scattered, light snow flurries. By end of day, clouds filled the west and draped the city with cold. But before dusk gave way to night, the day’s final light bejeweled the Back Bay with glowing blue sky, scattered clouds of pink and a freezing river that reflected soft light with patches of clear, still open water.
Dusk is magical. But it sadly passes too quickly. Luckily, tomorrow always brings the promise of more of its magic.
