During an unexpected chance to experience Africa, a seed was planted. Nurtured by subsequent forays into wild places, this photographer was born.

Jacques Cousteau said “People protect what they love.” And we’ve all heard that “A picture is worth a thousand words.” So, enough with this. My photography says the rest. Thanks for listening.

Beautiful!! Thank you for donating 50% to PBI!!

  • Thank you Marleia. After getting to see the wild bears of Cape Churchill, in all their arctic glory – frigid temps, blizzard conditions, freezing seas, blowing snow – I’m compelled to help. Spoke to PBI yesterday and they reported the weather forecast in Churchill was for rain… Had that been the case when I saw this polar family November of 2007, this scene would have been impossible. I so hope I can help raise awareness for these bears, PBI and the things we can each do make for a more promising future for all. Now, if I can just sell some my Cape images, then I can increase my contribution to PBI! Fingers crossed for us all. Thanks again for your kind words.
