During an unexpected chance to experience Africa, a seed was planted. Nurtured by subsequent forays into wild places, this photographer was born.

Jacques Cousteau said “People protect what they love.” And we’ve all heard that “A picture is worth a thousand words.” So, enough with this. My photography says the rest. Thanks for listening.

I just love love love polar bears. Wonderful captures one and all.

  • Thanks Ann. I couldn’t agree with you more. I feel so lucky that I was able to spend time at Cape Churchill in Wapusk NP a few years ago. I know the rising temps of recent years and longer periods without sea ice seriously challenge the bears of Churchill. Hope our efforts to stem global warming are enough for them. Polar Bears are such amazing creatures and their home at Cape is a magical place. I mean, years later, I’m still so smitten by this guy! So glad you like him too.

OMG…is that ever CUTE!!! Such an adorable behind!!! I just want to give him a big cuddle (however ‘dont know if he’d want to return it!)

  • You are so right… I think polar bears may have the cutest rumps in the animal kingdom!!! I suspect this jovial character would just love to give you a bear hug but I suspect you may find his level of enthusiasm a bit too extreme for comfort. ;-)
Thank you Susan so very much for your wonderful comments and fav.
