Nearing sunset, the 3 lionesses of the Plains pride were on the move, with 3 safari vehicles respectfully in tow. As they cleared woodland cover to enter open savanna, there was a distinct rustling of tall grass. Pausing in the open of dirt road, 4 of the pride’s 6 cubs bounded out to meet one of the lionesses. She turned due west for the greeting of little ones and the final golden glow from the day’s sun.
