Along the South Fork of the Shoshone River lies the wintering ground for one of the largest herds of bighorn sheep in America. Visiting in spring, we find dozens of these hard-headed creatures near the end of the road, peacefully gathered to relax and graze in the sagebrush and share a good story or two with ol’ buddies.
