Money may not grow on trees but as twilight filled dull clouds with afterglow and lights beamed brilliantly across the Charles River, I found gold growing along Boston’s Esplanade.

During an unexpected chance to experience Africa, a seed was planted. Nurtured by subsequent forays into wild places, this photographer was born.

Jacques Cousteau said “People protect what they love.” And we’ve all heard that “A picture is worth a thousand words.” So, enough with this. My photography says the rest. Thanks for listening.

thats different – awesome pic sylvia !

  • Thanks Dean! This was a surprise I was unprepared for. After a dull sunset, noticed clouds getting pinker as it got darker. Didn’t have my tripod but just a took a shot for my memories sake. But the preview of what my camera was able to capture amazed me so I stayed out, now seeing all sorts of scenes against that background of clouds. I just love my camera! ;-)

What a good eye to see this.

  • What a wonderful comment, Thank You Eileen! The sky was captivating but I was amazed by how much brilliance and color my camera was able to catch as the night kept creeping in. Pleased you enjoy the results… Sylvia
