Last summer, a late afternoon at Livadhi Gheranou beach in Patmos Island. Just a few minutes after the sunset…
Patmos (Greek, Πάτμος) is a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea. One of the northernmost islands of the Dodecanese complex, it has a population of 2,984 and an area of 34.05 km2 (13.15 sq mi). Livadhi Gheranou is a lovely beach with calm environment. Although it is not organized, it gets pretty popular in summer. It is one of the most picturesque beaches in the island, this sandy and pebbled beach almost always has calm waters due to the shielding offered by its parallel island of Agios Giorgios (St. George) which was named after the small church built on it.
