The tender loving care lavished on baby elephants is one of the species’ more endearing characteristic. Calves small enough to walk under mother (first year) remain in consant touch. Birth weight c. 265 lb / 120 kg.
Tarangire National Park in Tanzania is famous for its huge number of baobab trees and has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Tanzania.
