One hot afternoon near Sesfontein, we met this young man by a dirt road standing on his horse probably coming back from the fields. We stoped the car and asked for instructions. He was very friendly and helpful, but also he was willing to pose for a couple of shots.
Sesfontein is a settlement in the Kunene Region of Namibia. It is the district capital of the Sesfontein electoral constituency, its population is 7,358. Sesfontein derives its name from the six fountains which have their source in the vicinity.
The most well known landmark of Sesfontein is an old fort called Sesfontein Fort. Almost a hundred years after it was first built, the historical monument, originally a police outpost, was reconstructed and equipped to accommodate tourists.
