Bugis Boats - Bali
These incredible craft – I think they’re squid boats – belong to the Bugis people – the sea gypsies of Asia.
The tide was out and the boats were trapped in their harbour – a largish river on the north east coast of Bali. There was much painting & repairing going on and no sign of a tourist anywhere…
