One thing that photography teaches you is that just about anything can be interesting or perhaps made to look interesting.
Sometimes it’s all about context – an object has a different value when it’s in a gallery (art), as opposed to when it’s lying in a skip (rubbish). Sometimes it should be the other way round.
I hope at least some of my work stays out of the skip.
