“Outline”

I am a long-time film photographer that now has transitioned to Digital. I just received a new (actually very slightly used) Nikon D200 to go with my first digital camera, a Nikon D70S.

Lenses: a NIkon 70-300 EDIF lens, a 12-24 wide angle from Tokina, and a 28-75 2.8 from Tamron, plus an 18-105 Nikon VR and close-up lenses for the Tamron.

Shooting lots of macro and sports, I enjoy external lighting, sometimes supplemented with fill flash. I often like to use geometric compositions.

Primary subjects are florals, butterflies, sports

Married, 30+ years, 3 children.

Live in Charlotte, NC, after 12 years in Summerville, SC

2 married sons and one daughter in college that is a pre-med major and a Division 1 soccer player.

One grandson 1 1/2 and one more in the cooker!
