Drivers Ed... Amish Style (best when viewed large) by

Drivers Ed… Amish Style. This young boy is learning how to drive the family buggy.
I remember Drivers Ed like it was yesterday. I remember the fear of being a passenger in the instructors car, while another novice driver was behind the wheel.
I have a feeling that is what the young boy sitting in the back seat feels like as his friend, or brother receives instruction on “How to drive a Buggy”.
When you think about it, there is really no difference in how our different communities learn how to drive, we just have different means of transportation.
This was taken as a “Drive By” photo when I was a passenger in my friends car while we were out on a photo taking expedition :-)
