I have thought about this particular shot for years, actually ever since I purchased my car :-)
Finally… ( I honestly have no clue why I waited so long… lol), I headed out yesterday specifically to get this shot.
I cannot take 100% credit for this photo, because although I was the one to set up the shot, I was not the one to push the button :-)
I did some post editing by separating my camo skirt from the rest of the image. Removed color from the background. Color burned the background with a black/white gradient and increased the contrast just a slight bit.
My skirt was actually a green camo, but I really liked the idea of changing the color into something a bit more vibrant.
I added a royal blue “overlay” layer with about 50% opacity. I then color burned the skirt with about a 25% opacity with a dark blue.
I do all of my post editing in Photoshop.
