I have always believed our Spirits, if we can quieten the mind and Ego, and be still, and really listen to the Silence within our hearts, reveals to us what is Right and what is Good and what is True.
God speaks to me in many fascinating ways!

I created my username ourjrny in 2002.

I have been on a deeply intuitive, spiritual quest-journey for quite some time now, several years in fact, and within the most recent few months I have felt an ever-increasing sense of urgency, a compelling force or forces leading me, prompting me, pushing and pulling me, demanding, sometimes quietly and gently nudging me, sometimes urgently, forcing me to pay attention, (no, not that way, this way! softly, Listen!)...spiraling upward to a very powerful Spiritual Calling, with more frequent dream visits by my Spiritual Guides and through the wonderful people I have met; continuously experiencing an ever-increasing, deep psychic pull; trying to define it; feeling an earnest, abiding and constant yearning to reach upward and outward and inward; seeking this deep heart knowledge, in trying to determine exactly what it is, which is calling me.

This has led me to begin to awaken, to open my eyes, to wish to fully awaken; to be open to the wonderful possibilities, to fully manifest my dreams, to overcome my childhood conditioning.

It has widened and broadened my scope of perspective, deepened my understanding and opened my heart with many delightful and insightful discoveries, about Love, Life, Spirit…and Purpose…and while reading and studying many many many books, (my home is filled to the brim with them, and they just keep coming in because I keep ordering and buying them_{I have this unquenchable thirst for knowledge!) I have filtered through the many teachings, absorbing and applying what rings true, discarding what doesn’t; studying links, experiencing sights, sounds, lucid dreams, vivid colours, bright glimmerings, and brief shimmering glimpses of what it is I am feeling, longing for, searching for…aching for.}

I wish to realize… who I am… who I have always been… what it is that I want… really feel this fire in my belly and in my soul… to know why I am here now… how I am to return… stay on my path… know what is required of me… to help others… to teach our children how to navigate in this world with honour and integrity… to maintain and protect my innocence… to realize my quintessence of Spirit has always existed, and will always be a significant part of the great cosmic fabric in the multi-dimensional realm of reality… to learn my lessons in this life so as to not be required to repeat them… to accept and love the many facets of the whole me… to accept the light and the dark… so that I can fully love someone else… to face my fears…to forgive… myself for making mistakes… as well as others who have wronged me… to grow… to learn… to heal… to help others… to return… to ascend… to belong… to rest.

Isaiah (Chapter 30, verses 20-21):”...yet shall not thy Teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy Teachers, and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying,
‘This is the Way, walk ye in it’.”

I enjoy engaging conversation, good books, gardening, dancing, music, walking along the river, seafood and organic fruits and vegetables.

I am loyal and generous in love but not possessive.
I love a good sense of humour.
I have traveled extensively on the mainland, lived in fourteen states, and in Munich, Germany several years with many opportunities for travel in Europe. This exposure has broadened my perception in life and experience and opened my eyes to what is truly important in life. I have three beautiful children, and four grandchildren who I adore. They are my legacy in life and they are my greatest gifts!

I am a cultured, yet earthy, quiet and introspective woman.
I enjoy simple things in life such as walks along the river, communing with nature and exploring the forests.
I spend some time sketching and have a great passion for digital photography.
I have a great love for all animals.
I love the Hawaiian Islands, the mountains in all regions, the German Alpine region, British Columbia, Australia, New Zealand, the US Pacific Northwest, the Northeast and the Rocky Mountain corridor.
