We were in Hana most of the day yesterday attending the Festival of Aloha and had such great fun with many friends and members of our Ohana (family) in Hana Bay. The keiki (children) enjoyed playing many games as well, and we enjoyed some delicious meals. It was wonderful. I just logged on a few minutes ago as it is morning here on Maui. I am uploading the images taken yesterday. :))

I knew you’d love it, this is the beautiful beach where I took you for sunset when you were here on Maui. I drove from Makawao to Ka’anapali to pick you up at the resort, then drove all the way to Makena and we enjoyed Pa’ako all to ourselves for, amazingly enough, on that evening there were no fishermen and no weddings and there was no one else there but us. The waves were so gentle and the tide was neither low nor high. It was perfect. We sat in the surf up to our waists, scooping up handfuls of the beautiful golden sand playing like innocent children as the warm waves rocked us with the rhythm of the ocean as the sun set and the moon appeared overhead. There was a cool breeze and the only sounds we heard were our own laughter, the rustling of the coconut palms and the beautiful ocean song. It was lovely evening, your last evening on Maui before you left for O’ahu the following morning on your adventure. Mahalo sweetheart. Aloha ‘oe
