Jacob Mau at the MACC

This is a candid photograph of my husband at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center where he often sets up a booth to offer his beautiful Tropical Flowers of Hawai’i photographs for sale during concerts and other special events. That is the flame of a Tiki torch behind him. The warm light is the glow from the torches and the setting sun over Mauna Kahalawai. He is arranging his photographs on his display booth as a group of violinists and other musicians are performing on the outdoor stage.

Candid photography is one of my favourite creative expressions. I love capturing the true Aloha spirit and regal countenance of my husband when he is unaware of the lens.
