This is so inviting. The path leads my eye into the woods, the birch trunks are beautiful, and I love the light on the foreground and where it falls on the grass, path, and toward the clearing. . Yes, we love Alaska, but Mt. Redoubt just blew again, and the ash might be drifting this way. If I disappear for awhile, it’s because I have to shut down all the computers. What a nuisance.

Tis beautiful Sharon. Definately a magical place. We do not see such forests here, so it is great to see them on bubble. Greetings from across the waters and from my home Tassie. I bet this would be also spectactular in Autumn with the colours of the change. One day I would like to come to Alaska. Tis on my want list.

This is a very beautiful woodland composition Sharon, I feel I am on that path alongside you as I view the image and the peaceful atmosphere of the dense natural woodland is so evident.
Love the dappled sunlight piercing through that dense canopy of the silver birch trees, with the beautiful silver bark as the only contrast to that wonderful range of green tones and textures,a beautiful place to feel at one with Nature and captured so well,

What a beautiful forest scene. It is so calming and quiet feeling with just a touch of bright light illuminating the bush on right. The pathway looks so inviting. I want to go further into the forest to enjoy its serenity. I can certainly understand why it has collected all the wonderful features. Very beautiful work, Sharon.

I think you enjoy nature as much as I do. I have such an appreciation for it’s beauty and the way it makes me feel. I have often said, “It’s my soul food”. Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with me. I might be a little nervous about the bears and wolves but it sounds like you were alert and prepared should danger come upon you. I love seeing the wildlife too but we do have to be careful. I’m glad you told me there was an occasional bird song. I thought there might be. I love hearing them sing.
