Driving home tonight (1st of June 2011) from Greyabbey, Co Down towards Newtownards. My beloved Lough was looking spectacular! I had to stop a few times and take it all in. The only camera I had with me was an old Olympus c-220 zoom 2 meagre pixies! The first digital camera I bought many moons ago. I have to say it is testament to Olympus quality. The little camera has survived river drowning , dropped from high walls, fallen from car roofs.. and been around the UK and Ireland and even America and back.
I took this photo about 9pm ‘ish’ from near Cunningburn just up the road from Mountstewart…looking across the Lough to Newtownards and Scrabo tower.
The whole coast line of Northern Ireland is owned by the National trust.
The lens set on its widest focal angle 5mm or in 35mm terms probably around 22mm. But .. hey! Never mind the techno… just enjoy the view231 views

I thank you Roy oul han very kind. Y’see thats a Co Down sky … now when a Co Down sky crosses the river Lagen..it becomes a Co Antrim sky! Now everybody knows y’can’t have a Co Down sky in Co Antrim… it’s just not the same sky! Is it?
