It won't be long sweetheart!

I shot this many years ago at Lurgan Agricultural Show, Co Armagh.these people and their Weimaraner dogs were waiting for ages to go into the ring. They were sat on the fountain steps close to water access as it was a very hot day.
Ive always liked this photo even though its my own(blow the bugle man!)I think it tells the story of boredom and waiting and not wanting to be there , coupled with the positioning of the subject(s) that lead the eye over the picture.. Its very ‘contrasty’ and hard..ok so I flatter myself on taking a snap!

Minolta x-300 T-max film or possibly Pan F50, and printed up on a very heavy paper that contained Formaldehyde!!!! Maybe why its lasted so long !!!
