Yes, Chilliwack was a music group from the eighties. They made it onto the ‘Oh What a Feeling’ juno award album from…. well I can’t rememebr what year off the top of my head. But, as it stands, I do, in fact, live in a city called Chilliwack.
Weeeeeellll my mother did love to play Trivial Pursuit with us (and consequently kicked everyone’s butt) so I grew up clinging onto little tidbits to try and get ahead. Ten years later she is still kicking my butt.
Moms can do that. Mine always clobbered me at Canasta and bridge. I went through the trivial pursuit age too. We used to play at the local bar on Tuesday nights, connected to people all over the country. That was fun. I finally stopped playing because it occurred to me that maybe my brain had a limited amount of storage space, and I didn’t want to fail to retain something like my anniversary date, because was using the space to remember how long a platypus could hold it’s breath (about 3 minutes). Gimme my pie!
Ah yes, another interesitng thing about the platypus is that it is one of the two (some would say technically three) mammals with a cloaca – he single hole birds and reptiles had to act as their single means of urinary, excretory, and sometimes even reproductive tract. They are also one of the few mammals to have venomous spurs. Now the only other like unto the platypus is the echidna, or spiny anteater…. Since I have no anniversaries I need to remember, I liberally memorize pointless information.

A cool design, and a bit of trivia. What more could one ask for? :D
