Holy, I just went over 150,000 views. I think that is amazing, and I am so very honoured by all the great people who have looked at my images. Thank you to you all, and best wishes for happiness in 2011.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I have been blessed this past year by a wonderful group of friends and supporters on Red Bubble, which has resulted in a lot of improvement in my work as a photographer, and given me much encouragement and pleasure, as well. I am deeply grateful for this, and want to wish you all a very wonderful Christmas. May 2010 be happy and fulfilling for all of you, and may our relationship on Red Bubble continue to grow and blossom.

All the best to you,

First Homepage Honor

What a thrill I had today, when I opened RB, coffee in hand, as is my morning custom, to see an image of mine on the Homepage, along with other powerful images by wonderful RB artists. I have had many features, and some challenge successes, but this is a first, one to savor for a very long time. Here I Am is an image that has powerful emotional impact and meaning for me, making this honor all the more special. Thank you to the folks at RB for this, and special thanks to all of you who support my work with your comments and encouragement.

Nine Features Over Christmas Break and Sales, Too

At Christmas, I had two weeks off work, providing me plenty of photography and RB time. The pay off of all that time was nine features in two weeks, most of which came in the last few days. Naturally, I was totally delighted and grateful. The feedback provided by being featured is such powerful recognition of our work.…

I also purchased a bunch of my own calendars as gifts for friends and family. I had no intent to sell them, but the quality of the calendars is so good, they sold themselves to the friends of my friends. I even took orders, some for next year. All in all, the Christmas break was very rewarding for me.

Two Features in One Group In One Week

Sorry, I don’t often do this, because I tend to be fairly humble, but I was delighted to learn that two of my images have been featured this week in the Nikon DSLR User Group, and I want to share my success. Naturally I am grateful for the opportunity to have my images represented with so many other great works. Thank you to the people at this group for acknowledging these two important pieces in my repertoire:

and the most popular image in my portfolio by far,
