Gorgeous image and clarity….but don’t see the eagle! Great capture :)
David Friederich replied
That’s because I messed up. This is the swan shot!:)))
April Mansilla
its like you told them to all stay still while you captured them …beautiful work …I often go to the birds scantuary here in the warm weather ….it must take a lot of patience to capture something that can move so swiftly
David Friederich replied
It worked, April! They stayed still while I captured the image. Thank you for your comment. I would love to visit your sanctuary.
Anthea Slade
Wow this is brilliant David…it is like a painting and I agree with April it is like they are posing for you holding still…perfect feeling and movement and detail…Am so very impressed with your eye and vision here.
David Friederich replied
Thank you so much, Anthea. Getting better with the eye and vision. You are helping with that.
tuffcookie
no worries hun, just wasn’t sure if u noticed :) i gave up on the nerve blockers… they wre making me so extrodinarily tired i could barely get up, but neither could i sleep so after three days of no sleep i stopped taking them. allergic reaction i guess. trying to comment one one or two a day, but not here very much, just been trying to sleep and rest. hope to be back soon hugs
David Friederich replied
You have many friends here, Kelly. I know they are all wishing you a speedy recovery, as I am.

I was lucky, Antonio. They were close enough together for me to get them all in focus. Thank you for another great comment.
Holly Kempe
So lovely David – there is a graceful elegance to this and the subdued colours suit it perfectly!
David Friederich replied
Holly, this is a good description for what I witnessed, “graceful elegance”. The season here provides the subdued tones. Thank you for your comment.
KatsEye
Another beautiful capture. Very elegant bird. Love their song they sing. They migrate through Wis around Nov. They rest at Alma WI before moving on. Excellent work.
David Friederich replied
I love their “trumpeting” too, Katseye…can’t say it is a song, though, even if it is music to my ears. Love your comment…Thank you.

Joanne Bradley
Oh I really like this composition with the leader at the front of the flock! And the quality of the image looks so much like a painted piece, just beautiful!
David Friederich replied
Actually, the lead bird is a juvenile, with the two parents on top. I found the arrangement so human. Thank you Joanne for this comment and for all your wonderful comments on my work.
Joanne Bradley
Or leader of the family? Great shot!
Pat Yager

Anthony Vella
Excellent capture of these beautiful creatures preparing for landing. Magnificent work.
David Friederich replied
Watching these huge birds is like watching large aircraft. They behave very much the same, and the risks and hazards are also the same. Thank you for all your comments on my work today.
