For a long time, the only shots I had were either blurred, or small dots in the distance. I just kept going to the same place where I had seen kingfishers before, and hung out, over many weeks. I wish I could tell you that I planned that. This shot was captured in a fraction of a second and I was very lucky that it turned out. Lots of luck involved.
