Ladner Harbour
Ladner is a village at the mouth of the Fraser River in British Columbia, just south of Vancouver. Fish boats harbour here, and motor out of the river into Georgia Strait where they fish for salmon, cod, halibut, and other species. This image was captured on a very calm, warm, summer early morning day in 2007.

Very Nice, I love the boats and the reflection. Reminds me of a small greek town here called Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs, Heavy tourist area but it started as a sponge village and still does its work today, you can even go diving with them.
Really nice detail in the background boats.

Thank you, David. I was using the smallest aperture I could, the lowest ISO, with the camera on a tripod. Everything came together to make a good picture.

David!! so beautiful.. your love of the water and of the vessels that use them make for interesting photos.. I don’t think I have ever seen this kind of spirit in these shots.. infact I have never faved a dock shot like this but I will it is beautiful.. the comp and calm and the tones are to die for.!

Wow, nice commment. I love the colours and reflections too. This is such a beautiful place, Lina, and on this particular summer morning, very early, there were no people, and the water was absolutely still. Thank you.
