Dear love, I hope you are sitting down on a chair,
I have a confession that I need to make you aware.
Remember last summer when you went to the beach,
I was feeling lonely and your cell I could not reach.
You stated to me that the cell batteries were dead,
The written note you left to study without you instead.
Your skin was pealing and you said it was the cream,
The promise that nothing was wrong or as it must seem.
I let all of those fanacy lies go by the way side,
Your strange behavior told you had something to hide.
I studied day and night alone while you were away,
Our conversation of our love had nothing new to say.
I heard a rumor that you failed a woman’s birth test,
A best friend said you were tired and needed a rest.
You have made no attempt to discuss your secret lies,
So with good reason it is time to say our good-byes.
I will graduate in June and it will be a law degree,
Your grades will fail you as you will very soon see.
That innocent day that you didn’t spent at the beach,
A message from jail, it’s you they’re trying to reach.
