Changing ways, Eating baked Frito Lays.
No more lies, Confessing and being wise.
Making better grades,
Still no dates.
No sugar just real honey,
Saving all my money.
No spilling drinks on the rug,
Using jars for keeping bugs.
No cussing or swearing,
Careful with clothes I’m wearing.
Helping mother and my dad,
Being sure they’re not sad.
Doing chores and not complaining,
No subject worth debating.
Helping little brother and my sister,
Even shaking hands with Church Minister.
Kneeling down to say my prayers,
No comment on parent’s hair getting grayers.
I will stop right after the 25th of December,
My parent’s will understand that I can’t remember.

Remember your childhood days when you were bad. Parents would tell you that your birthday present was going to be late, or that Santa Claus might not come that year. In other words, you better be good. If you were like me, you were good for one month only until Christmas was over, come on, admit it!
