While you were too busy ignoring me
I decided to kiss you so romantically.
I tasted your lips of honey with a long kiss
that I placed on them, but not physically.
It was a picture of your beautiful face
that was hanging on the wall at your parents house.
You were in the studio before your graduation
and under the robe you were wearing a blue blouse.
Those gorgeous eyes of sparkling brown
staring at me while standing next to a chair.
A smile so perfect to welcome anyone around
and with a black cap that matched your wavey hair.
I was not there when they took the picture,
but the wall made it easy for me to see.
A golden frame made you look so outstanding
as I glanced hoping one day my bride you would be.
No, I didn’t get my wish to marry you someday
since your heart was already taken by a faked gentleman.
He took you away from your family including me
and forced you to obey his devious daily demand.
Life was taken as he was a jealous evil person
disguised as your perfect future husband to be.
In death I shall not forget the beauty inside of you
since I still carry a wallet size picture of you to see.
I’ve kissed you a million times over as time has aged me,
and because you remain in my heart you are still young.
With that picture in my hand we’ve danced so close
and in slow motion with songs that I wrote for you and sung.
There has never been another girl that has my heart
even though you ignored my advances since time can see.
In the forest I craved a momento of a heart with our names
and with the words “I will love you forever,” on a tree.
