View From a Lens

Through the view of a lens I saw the world,
They were pictures of nature that I had missed.
It awoke my senses and inspired my heart to write,
And my emotions brought tears as the pictures I kissed.

I saw what the blinding eyes was refusing to allow to appear,
My sorrows from my troubled heart that had blocked the views.
A nature photographer had made a calendar of these images,
And upon taking a trip with my eyes I found inspiring news.

In this journey I saw bees pollinating flowers to bring growth,
And animals bonding together as friends without any boundaries.
My eyes glazed at sunsets and magnificent skies in the heavens,
Without knowledge of any prejudices or judgement of neither countries.

These spectacular pictures brought a sense of peace inside of me,
A feeling of joyful emotions that I was lacking with my daunting sorrows.
Now I am so thankful that I took this trip with my eyes opened wide,
And even more thankful of this person that has allowed me to see my tomorrows.
