I rubbed my rabbit’s foot today
but he had it on when I did.
Well, after wishing for something to eat
I only got what he ate last night in little balls
as he made his poo poo.
Since that didn’t go well I tried the other foot
and that’s when the door bell rang.
It was the mailman with a letter
in form of a bill and I did ask for money,
but not for me to pay.
With three down and two to go
I rubbed the third foot of my lucky rabbit.
This time I wished for sweet things
and my neighbor dropped a bag
of left over Halloween candy, it had melted.
One foot to go so I was careful
and wished for a friend to call
when the telephone rang
and it was my friend the dentist,
it was my time to clean my teeth.
Let’s see, four supposedly rabbit’s feet
good luck charms and no good luck,
what else can seriously go wrong?
Oh no, it’s my dad calling me outside,
it’s time to clean to the cow’ barn.
