He Whispered Words To The Wind
An old man has many thoughts that have bothered him in his past for an incident that he knew about, yet with time it came back to haunt him. He seeks help in a lonely place that only he knows about and speaks to the mountain wind.

Standing high atop a great wise proud mountain
in the dense hidden forest was this troubled man,
His face was wrinkled with despair of a miserable life
and wishing for hope as he reached to the sky with his hands.
The statued rock formation formed from old lava emitions
was old, experience, and entirely covered with snow and ice,
As his equal in years seek words from her past knowledge
of wisdom learned with eyes wide opened in the form of her advice.
He whispered words from his heart that had lost faith in himself
in a quivering cry to the northern winds blowing in the cold,
Telling her of his secrets of a glorious love of many years before
that had gone astray one night and now sour was his voice of old.
She lashed her answers at the bitter man that was suffering in emotion
knowing he was not the only victim using a blast of her breath in ice,
Scolding him for foolish remarks made to his love of countless years
neglecting a passion for her at some point that was not very nice.
Standing in bare skin that was given to him at his day of a new born
the pores on his face filled with frozen water from her directed advice,
And his crippled mind listened in detail to her knowledge that blew
with the wind believing in her experience that was more than wise.
When she was through the mountain rumbled aloud for him to go home
and forgive the mistakes that had transpired while they were together,
And this heart broken man did what was told to face his partner of many
so that forgiveness would come with a blessing no matter the weather.

After loosing my wife, I found it hard to forgive myself and it comes back and haunts me. I write to make myself know that she forgave me for whatever reasons I feel the guilt. Not that I was a bad person, I took care of her when she became ill six long years. I did everything, but even so, I still feel the guilt. I find myself alone and troubled, but I keep pecking away at the keys and write to bring joy to my heart. When I read what you write, I smile and feel like a whole new person, I have to thank you for taking the time to read my writing. It is easy to turn away with so long and many things I write, so I thank your generous heart for the lovely comments that keep me hanging on. They really help my soul to live another day.
