Only in dreams can I see you again
because they are mine as you once were.
I can talk to you and see your beautiful smile
and touch your spirit with a gentle stroke of my hand.
The image of the person you once were
is not lost as my mind can see every detail.
You do not age as a vivid real life picture
reappears and comes alive before my eyes.
Only in dreams do your lips touch mine
and give me the pleasure of tasting your presence.
Only in dreams do my eyes not blink for a moment
because I do not want to miss every second with you.
We embrace and do the things that made us happy
throughout our moral days of this beautiful earth.
Not a moment is wasted as we speak of times past
and of a lonely future without you here by my side.
We still have little arguments and such but I do not win
nor do I choose to because it brings a spark into my heart.
Only in dreams do your lips touch mine
and give me the pleasure of tasting your presence.
Only in dreams do I spent a special time of happiness
that makes me not want to wake up and not find you.
The tears slowly exit my eyes and land on my cheeks
but I refuse to wipe them away because they are of you.
These illusions are a gift that you have bestowed on me
so that I will never forget that you are still by my side.
Never will I stop dreaming because it is my torch
that lights my path that will someday lead me to you.
Only in dreams do your lips touch mine
and give me the pleasure of tasting your presence.
Only in dreams do I walk hand in hand with you
and feel the glorious presence of your touch of hope.
My heart melts knowing that we are still together
as your sweet voice tells me to live my years in peace.
I fall to my knees begging you to come back to me
and only when you lift my face towards you do I stop weeping.
Your eyes tell me the reality of it all and you forgive my soul
so that I can walk on this planet and be a better man of it all.
Only in dreams do your lips touch mine
and give me the pleasure of tasting your presence.
Only in dreams can I forgive myself for the things I did wrong
knowing that I could have said I love you a million times more.
There can never be another day of you and me on this earth
but I know that where ever you are I will find you one day.
I will have to be at my best so that you can crown me your champion
and I can crown you my queen as we embrace forever more.
Please stay in my dreams and make me trust the senses of life
that will lead us all to the promised place of total happiness.

You are so right, it is from many of these dreams that I write emotionally and expressively. The memories become a vivid picture in the dreams and many tears of happiness and sorrow are emitted from our eyes in forms of love, understanding and sometimes guilt. I must thank you so much for your most understanding of my dreams and your wisdom to unglue the making of them.

Shugggggggggggggggggggggggggs, I just blushed with your beatiful words of understanding. I have to get on with my life, and I speak from my heart, I spill my emotions out but I am up front with them. You always pat me on the back, it really inspires me to write about what my mind thinks, what my heart feels. You have a kind heart, don’t ever loose that. Thank you so much for the uplifting of my inner emotions by congratulating me for my feature. It just allowed me to let out my emotions and to take another step in allowing me to continue with my life. It is a sad one, yet my chin is pointing at the sky as people like yourself visit my thoughts in my poetry and giving me a pat on the back to remind me that it is worth the effort in sharing my feeling. Yes, it kind of says it all about loosing a love one and wanting so much to have had at least one more day, buy it can only be in dreams and so I tell it all, you know, the wants and needs, the feelings, the love, the missing part, and just asking for forgiveness.
