Time is never late as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west,
I’ve come to believe that one is a blessing and the other a beast.
Day or night, sun or moon, your medicine is there for one to pick,
Getting out of bed is a blessing, or a weakness depending on the trick.
Catching the light from the heavens remains a pleasure for the eyes,
Knowing life still breathes inside the human body is a gift of no lies.
Cells that remain alive in the heart and brain continue to reproduce,
Knowledge stays in the vault inside the head never to be reduced.
Talented individuals diagnose it as a cause of memory gone forever,
I know it as a plea of ,“Let me go home!” where death comes, never!
Stars shine in the dark and sparkle as their dust fall down to earth,
Where well rounded humans gather them for strength of their worth.
Grieve and happiness can follow each other if we believe in what we know,
Water freezes in the coldest places and then melts away winter’s snow.
Times of despair have limits until it can no longer grow stronger anymore,
Items or treasures that keep us alive go missing, so shop at another store.
Time is never late as we stretch every tenth of a second to complete a task,
Man and woman should be thankful of whom they are without a mask.
No need to hide from dark shadows that haunt in daytime or at night,
Every step that we take must be taken with care and do things right.
Listen to the wind that blows mysteries of the world into eardrums,
Leave a trail of goodness behind as memories of lasting bread crumbs.
Remember that it matters not if you have no ceiling or a richly dome,
One day we shall all fall asleep peacefully saying, “Let me go home!”
