Artist's Description

Designed in 1948 by stretching the fuselage of the Lockheed P-80A fighter the T-33 was the world’s first jet trainer. Aces High’s T-33A G-TJET is pictured taxying at RAF Alconbury in 1983. Although its correct serial is 51-8566 it is painted as 91007 with the buzz number TR-007 possibly to cash in on the magic James Bond connotation. In 1991 it was re-registered as G-NASA.
