Artist's Description

Built by Fairchild Canada the Bolingbroke was a license-built version of the Bristol Blenheim IV WW2 bomber. The mark IVT, which had American instrumentation, was used by the Royal Canadian Air Force as a bombing and gunnery trainer. G-BPIV is a restored example painted to represent RAF Blenheim IV Z5722. Operated by the British Aerial Museum it is pictured flying at the RAF Mildenhall Air Fete in 1993.
