The WW2 Fairchild Argus III operated by Battle of Britain Prints International Ltd pictured taxying in at Leicester East for the PFA Rally in 1980. This Fairchild model 24R-46A was originally built to a USAAF contract as a UC-61K Forwarder. It was delivered to the RAF as an Argus III and assigned to the Air Transport Auxiliary who used it as a taxi to transport ferry pilots back to base.
