An underside view of B-17G Fortress II “Sally B”, a word war 2 iconic design, with the bomb doors open. This aircraft carries the serial 124485 but her actual identity is 44-85784. She still sports the “Memphis Belle” noseart applied for her appearance in the film of the same name. The chequered cowling is carried in memory of Ted White who brought “Sally B” to the UK and founded “B-17 Preservation”.
