My real name is Colin but most people know me as Oscar. I took my first photos in the early 1950s and my favorite subjects are aircraft, natural history, trucks and traction engines. I use Canon EOS cameras and a mix of Canon and Sigma lenses. My website URL is http://www.oscarpix.co.uk

    Great shot Colin. – Ted
Have a soft spot fo the Meteor. Was sat in the cockpit of opne by my RAF uncle when I was 7 and got bit by the aviation bug lurking in there.

  • Thanks Ted! Know what you mean – it was a Hurricane for me.

I worked in the hangar(4) behind, on 101 sqdn Vulcans, in the late 1950s and you could still the machine gun bullet holes in the hanger door. Are the still there I wonder! Excellent photo. Into faves, Cheers Neil

  • Thanks very much Neil! I worked on the white Vulcan 1s, 1As and 2s of 617 Sqn at Scampton during 1960-2 and for a few months on the white B1s of 50 Sqn at Waddington.
