Search & Rescue Sea King HAR.3 XZ599 of HarDet pictured taking off in the snow at RAF Stanley in the Falkland Islands after refuelling. Normally painted chrome yellow the SAR Sea Kings assigned to HarDet in the Falkland Islands operational theatre were over sprayed medium sea grey and quickly became christened “Grey Whales”.
