“Pink Lady”, a WW2 B-17G, pictured getting airborne at Duxford during Flying Legends 2008. This is the only existing B-17G that actually took part in wartime operations while based in the UK.

  • Thanks Nigel! It’s a shame she’s not flying now. The group that owns her put her into a museum as the upkeep cost too much and it was almost impossible to find replacement engineers for all the old guys that retired.
