Antonov An-12 "Cub" 2105 by Colin Smedley
Clear

Born in the late 1950s the Antonov An-12 was hailed as the Russian C-130 but although nearly 1000 were built development did not keep pace with that of the American machine. This Czechoslovakian Air Force An-12 is pictured at IAT 91 at RAF Fairford. Two years later it was retired when the Union and its Armed Forces divided.
