I took a photo of a nice leafy green shrub in my garden and played with it in Photoshop by deleting a section of the shrub, then leaving the remainder on a white background and adding some blending options until I came up with this nice simplistic design. It would work well as a blank greeting card or as a modern-looking piece of framed art or wall poster.

Thank you Agnes. I took the photo with my Dad’s new camera…that new Panasonic G1 12mp (one of those DSLRs) the one with that flip screen. The quality of image is so much better than what I get with my little canon IXUS 800IS point & shoot thing. Really looking forward to getting myself a DSLR …probably be in November.

Thanks David. Well my Dad still has his camera…I just took it out for a day to try it out. Such a difference in the quality between his camera an mine…his a 12mp and mine just a 6mp. ….Thanks for visiting. :~)
