I painted this one when I was 18 years old and living in Galway (Ireland)….quite a few years ago at this stage. The lighting on the trees and the water all along The River Seine (France) is magical and this was an impressionist painter’s paradise and still remains a fantastic source of inspiration for artists today.
Georges Seurat (a post-impressionist painter) invented the style of ‘Pointillism’.
