Wow, this is really gorgeous. I love etching as a medium, but haven’t done any for a very very long time (lack of equipment), don’t think I’ve ever produced anything quite so beautiful as this!!
Hi Alexandra, Glad you like it and it was a few years ago since I did this one. There was an etching lady living a few miles from me and she had the big printing press and all the equipment so I used to go to her place and do etching for a while as well as a few other artists. We paid a fee of course but I hadn’t done any etching since college years so was delighted to get the chance to do some again. :)
Fancy me having a printing press in my gaf. It would fill my small bedroom and most likely fall through the floor. LOL! Wouldn’t it be nice though…
