Moving House

Moving House

The original piece has been executed in OIL PASTEL on Cartridge paper – I sketched this image many years ago in my sketchbook. It was taken from an image I found in a magazine. I just liked the look of the cardboard boxes and the denim.
I executed this piece when I was about 22 years of age.

Example of framed print:

I like the level of light and texture in this series, just appropriate

Thank you. Pity I can’t remember who the person was….but I was nearly sure it was a photo of Princess Margaret or Princess Anne, but I’m more thinking it was Margaret. Not the normal photo pose for the Princess. :)

More like Princess Anne in my mind, I love your talent for drawing from photos, I have a lovely pencil and crayon drawing of my dog Bruno, that one of my art students done for me from a 6×4” photo
everybody thought that Bruno had posed for it, the detail was so vibrant and rich; maybe that’s why I like this style
