The nu year sees the release of the above work, the continuation of the Screen Ghost Projection Guild gallery at The Vestry- Fortress Studios. London England, as well as the continuation of the 3Monkeys Project. Although progress is slow on the 3Monkeys this is part of it’s formation. Many of its core issues are yet to happen and are wrapped in events as they unfold. After all that is one of the many task of art and creation. To document that which cannot be spoken , yet is real and dangerous affecting our every day existence. Of late I have been active making film and music as well as taking and mutating photographs. I have also been doing a lot of digital disinformation releases via facebook and myspace. I regard these sites as brushes and often paint with them do follow. life and the way I create and release stuff has become even more random and complicated. Using all media and forms of communication. keep it real and fresh. the above release is one seed.

peace. fuck that, it’s the season let’s riot

A while back I had a notion. as a MacUser i fell in love with he way the Os X slide show screen saver displayed images. having just joined deviant Art.com, at site and community that is pro artist, and creativity, and is actually one of the best dam things I have found on the internet. I had the ability to look around and see what other artist were doing as well as find inspiration to my own creative soul. So i thought to add to this amazing wealth of diversity.

At the time my work with the DVJ’s project was sporadic, but the need, and will to project art was foremost at my mind. It was at this time I decided to start and create the Screen Ghost Projection Guild. This is a selection of work based on my favourite images and work from my fellow creators on the site.

This is just based on what I have been able to view. A drop in the ocean for the wealth of talent stored and actively working there.

My idea was to take my favs and project them on buildings around cities during the long winter nights. Unfortunately the first year that I planed to do this , my projector was damaged,. hence project delayed. However chance came around that I took charge and responsibility for a space. Cobbling to together the most basic of tools to the do the job the Screen Ghost Projection Guild has had a permanent indoor residency. Since February 2088 as part of my stewardship of The Vestry Hospitality Rooms at The Fortress Studios . London . UK I have been able to run a well received and acclaimed virtual gallery using the ideas that were the equaision for the SGPG.

Interfacing a wide selection of art to a public community is quite a dangerous thing because of preconception. Some of the the work featured comes from the fetish vault and there are quite challenging pictures of a sexual nature. The inclusion of these was quite interesting. As on first viewing many of these were seen as being pornographic, but then on repeated viewing the true beauty of each image in it’s own right was realized. Over the the past months I have had many hypnotised by the play of images and the juxtaposition between pieces of work. Sometimes it is uncanny. As if a secret message was involved. Especially if music is added to the equation.

I have taken their art to raves gigs video shoots and an audience that couldn’t t be reached directly by the web. Thanks to their creations we have been able to make some beautiful moments in time. I just wish I could have recorded them all, but I do belive the best is yet to come.

As wel as using it as a release point for diesekonstruction/art productions this year. Which for who’re interested there is an on going situational piece on going in the Vestry, involving Decor and Media, as well as nu furniture workx.

This Project has taken up most of my time at the moment so I apologise for the late site update but folks it’s been one BIG summer and this is just the beginning. THE RESISTANCE WILL NOT BE STERILE.

This is not art theft or art piracy. this is genuine free promotion of the artists involved in the the project. And no other criteria than I like that image. I enjoy it as a moment , a creation, as worthy and as valid as one of my own. After all, are we not told we are all equal. so everything and nothing is valid . We decide. We make the world and record it by our actions and our lives. The general message we try to pass between each other is love, I just wish we could all embrace it and forget what’s gone.

But that’s not the way of man. And this virtual gallery portrays that in a every strange and wonderful way.

The show is also populated with my own work and that of Ami Barwell a very talented music photographer who I met this year and was the first solo show as part of the virtual gallery
