Idaho Oasis, Bruneau Dunes
As the Sun drops near the horizon the dunes turn from gray to gold. The temperature on the sand becomes more pleasent but swarms of mosquitos begin to rise from the reed marshes fringing the lake. They drive me off before the sun actually sets but there is no show of color in the sky tonight so the bugs can have the dunes. This time.

Great job Albert. The exposure on this is amazing. I wish you could have gotten a bit more luck with the color in the sky though. I remember the little rascal blood suckers from when I was there. I had to resort to sleeping in my car for awhile, as setting up my tent after shooting sunset was out of the question, I probably would have had to go get blood from the hospital!
Anyway, great job. Even with the lack of color in the sky, this is a very impressive shot composition-wise.
Albert Dickson replied
Thanks Charles. When ever I go back there I certainly won’t forget the deet!
